The National Vocations Office website has an excellent section called "Guidelines for Applicants" which gives:

 

•  A number of self-exploration questions to ask yourself about your motivation, attitudes and character
•  A list of Scripture texts pertinent to priesthood and its demands, for prayer and meditation
•  Suggested answers to the question "who would make a good priest ?"
•  Practical details about the application process, supplementing what has been said in our own section
