A vital part of the ecumenical work in our diocese is done by the Parish Ecumenical Representatives.
These are people appointed by the Parish Priest to help the work of Ecumenism in each parish.
They are to try to encourage, foster and promote the work of Ecumenism where they are, helping the local churches to have good relationships, and to work together in the mission of the whole church: to proclaim the saving work of Jesus.
