The Committee for Christian Unity

This is the Committee of our Bishops which fosters the ecumenical work in England & Wales. It also helps with the various inter-church dialogues which are taking place

The Secretary to the Committee is Monsignor Andrew J. Faley, who is the Assistant General Secretary for Ecumenical and Interreligious Affairs to the Bishops’ Conference.(Mgr Faley is often seen in our Diocese as he helps out with Masses at Bourne End and Hazlemere. )

The Pontifical Council for Christian Unity

This is the Vatican body which co-ordinates all the ecumenical activity of the Catholic Church. It also publishes various documents.
