Safeguarding Co-ordinator - Danielle Dixon (Right in picture)
Danielle is responsible for coordinating the safeguarding matters within the Diocese ; this includes the Religious Orders/Congregations affiliated to the Safeguarding Commission. Danielle leads in the implementation and management of the safeguarding policy and practice, including Safer Recruitment, working closely with the Safeguarding Commission, the Bishop and Congregational leaders, helping to organise meetings, preparing reports and assessing need.Danielle attends Commission meetings but she is not a Commission Member.
Danielle is on annual leave between 3rd and
20th Augustv 2018. During this time, you can contact Lorraine Elks on 01604 7235146
regarding DBS applications and online training. In the event that a safeguarding

Safeguarding Support Officer - Lorraine Elks (Left in picture)
Lorraine is responsible for processing the paperwork that is linked with the Disclosure & Barring Services Certificate (DBS) applications and maintaining databases and filing systems. She offers advice on clerical matters and provides support to both the parishes and the Parish Safeguarding Representatives. Lorraine will deliver training to Parish Safeguarding Representatives. She supports and minutes the Commission’s meetings, and supports the Safeguarding Coordinator in the day-to-day running of the Safeguarding Office.
