Once we are enthused about sharing our faith there are practical questions that usually arise.
- Who is God calling me to share my faith with?
- How should I evangelise?
- What gifts can or should I use?
- Are there any resources that I can use?
- Who can I work with?
- Who will lead?
Thankfully we are not alone, and there are many who have gone before us whom we can learn from. It is also helpful to remember that our evangelising is always something we do with others and so we can support each other.
In terms of support we would encourage parish groups to consider setting up a Parish Evangelisation Team. The Diocesan Evangelisation Team can provide training, support and encouragement for your team (please see D.E.T. vision statement downloadable from this website).
From time to time the Diocesan Evangelisation Team will be posting details of evangelisation events taking place in the Diocese via this website and other Diocesan communications. If you would like to be kept informed directly please send in your conact details via the 'Contact Us' section and we can add your name to our Evangelisation Mailing List. You can request to be removed from this at anytime by simply contacting us again.
We would also be grateful to hear of any evangelisation events that you may be running in your area so we can help publicise them for you.
