The Vocations Team Minimize

Part of the work of discernment is played by the Diocesan Vocations Team. This is a group of priests who have been given a special responsibility in this area by the Bishop. Of course, many other priests and lay people are also involved in the work. However, the first point of contact, after one’s own parish priest, is one of the members of this team.

Fr Mark FloodyFR. MARK FLOODY is Diocesan Vocations Director. Youngest of eight, and educated in Corby, he decided to become a priest while studying Economics in London. He was ordained in 1990, and has always served in Luton, first at St Josephs and Our Lady's for three years each, then at St Johns, which was clustered and then merged with Holy Family in 2001-2.

He can be contacted on 01582 502400 or e-mail : mark.floody@btinternet.com

FR Jonathan HillFR. JONATHAN HILL is Diocesan Vocations Promoter. He is presently Parish Priest at St Martin de Porres, Luton, and was ordained to the priesthood in 1995. Born and brought up in High Wycombe, he worked for a number of years in the hotel and catering industry before entering the seminary at Oscott.

He can be contacted on 01582 663706 or by e mail: frjonhill@frjonhill.orangehome.co.uk
